Figured I'd throw these here instead of clogging up discord. These are contrivances that I've thought up and I wanted to get them looked at before I go ahead and have them made:

Novice:

Blink: Straight up 5 feet

Blink: Blink forwards 5 feet at a 45 degrees angle to ground

Hydromancy: The caster creates a doorway sized tunnel through 20 gallons of fog. The direction of the tunnel is directly in front of them.

Aeromancy: Caster focuses their eyes on a specific spot. A breeze is formed on that exact spot, moving from the ground directly upwards. It is enough to lift small, reasonably light objects and unsecured clothes.

Apprentice:

Portal: Create portal hovering in the air in front of caster's palm, angled to be parallel to the palm. The portal is the size of a small window someone slender could squeeze through. The connecting portal is created 30 miles away in the direction the palm is facing. Glyphics increase the distance by 30% to 39 miles.

Inermanteia: On touch, preserves excised organs and bodily fluid for a week

Hydromancy: 24 fl oz of water is created and lances off the caster's fingertips in the shape of a spear and is capable of drilling through wood. Glyhpics increases the potency by 30%.

Aeromancy: The caster blows air from their mouth that is strong enough to stagger the average person

Pyromancy: Fires a bolt in the direction of casting.

Journeyman:

Pyromancy: Fires a 6' diameter fireball in the direction of casting.

Infernosight: Grants heat vision in a 20' radius centralized around the caster

Hydromancy: The caster sends a pulse of aether towards a single target, attempting to take control of the water in their bodies. Physically weak targets are forced to claw their own throats out. Stronger targets will have more natural resilience against the effects.

Soar: The caster's momentum is carried for until X time has passed

Aeroresonance: Creates a 20' radius bubble around the caster that mutes all sound

Aeromancy: Creates a wall of wind around the caster in the shape of a 10' radius sphere that redirects projectiles in a clockwise motion.

Lithomancy: Raises a wall of earth the size of a brown bear five feet in front of the caster.

Expert:

Pyromancy: Fires lightning bolt in the direction of casting.

Portal: Create portal hovering in the air in front of caster's palm, angled to be parallel to the palm. The portal is the size of a large doorway. The connecting portal is created 1200 miles away in the direction the palm is facing, exactly 1000 feet higher than the caster's elevation (to prevent possible collisions with terrain). Glyphics increase the distance by 30% to 1560 miles.

Inermanteia: Chilled aether is emitted in a cone in the direction the caster is facing. The cone is 10 feet long and is able to lock up to Large sized living things and half the body of Medium sized beings. Potency and distance increased by 30% with Glyhpics.

Aeroresonance: Creates a 30' cone in the direction of casting. Sounds within the cone are increased to a high enough pitch to burst blood vessels

Novice:

Blink: Straight up 5 feet
> Good

Blink: Blink forwards 5 feet at a 45 degrees angle to ground
> Good

Hydromancy: The caster creates a doorway sized tunnel through 20 gallons of fog. The direction of the tunnel is directly in front of them.
> Good, but 20 gallons isn't a lot of air so you'd only be making a doorway a few feet deep.

Aeromancy: Caster focuses their eyes on a specific spot. A breeze is formed on that exact spot, moving from the ground directly upwards. It is enough to lift small, reasonably light objects and unsecured clothes.
> You would have to have a Artificed/Maledicted eye with Glyphics woven into it so they can be "pointed" by the eyeball, but this could work.

> This would not work as Portals are opened at a specific location imparted into the Conjuration which it cannot change.

Inermanteia: On touch, preserves excised organs and bodily fluid for a week
> The duration of Inermanteia cannot be specified. You would need a separate cast to then remove Inermanteia from something with a Resistance skill. I guess this means Inermanteia could permanently brick an equivalent-tier magic object or spell by slowing down its Aether, handy!

Hydromancy: 24 fl oz of water is created and lances off the caster's fingertips in the shape of a spear and is capable of drilling through wood. Glyhpics increases the potency by 30%.
> The water would be split between each fingertip, which must have connected Glyphics tattooed down each finger and connected together. You would manipulate 30% more water, too, due to the built-in Canting.

Aeromancy: The caster blows air from their mouth that is strong enough to stagger the average person
> Glyphics inside the mouth or around the mouth would be required for this.

Pyromancy: Fires a bolt in the direction of casting.
> Yes, but you must use an object to point; direction is always in relation to an object the Glyphics is woven into. Remember to specify all details of the original spell, including the size, temperature, and other language.

Journeyman:

Pyromancy: Fires a 6' diameter fireball in the direction of casting.
> Yes, but you must use an object to point; direction is always in relation to an object the Glyphics is woven into. Can be 30% larger and hotter with canting. Remember to specify all details of the original spell, including the size, temperature, and other language.

Infernosight: Grants heat vision in a 20' radius centralized around the caster
> You give yourself the heat vision or someone else the heat vision. The heat vision then gives its effects at Journeyman.

Hydromancy: The caster sends a pulse of aether towards a single target, attempting to take control of the water in their bodies. Physically weak targets are forced to claw their own throats out. Stronger targets will have more natural resilience against the effects.
> Aqua works by directionally wrenching on water in the body, but this spell lacks finer control when cast normally or with a Conjuration. You would have to cast the spell repeatedly every time you wanted to change the direction of a limb or finger. Aether is not "pulsed" you simply "pull" the target you are pointing at.

Soar: The caster's momentum is carried for until X time has passed
> Soar (and all passives) will be Cantrips in the new system and therefore cannot be a Conjuration.

Aeroresonance: Creates a 20' radius bubble around the caster that mutes all sound
> The radius isn't specified in the original article. I would ask its author (Vicissitude) how large the radius should be. The bubble would also be around the object, as it is the "object" casting it.

Aeromancy: Creates a wall of wind around the caster in the shape of a 10' radius sphere that redirects projectiles in a clockwise motion.
> Radius isn't specified, and you use the original wording of the spell as a wall of wind would throw projectiles or people alike. You would be making a wall of wind rotating in a clockwise motion strong enough to lift "your own body weight" meaning this would be much stronger on a heavy ancient dragon unless the original articles phrasing is otherwise nerfed.

Lithomancy: Raises a wall of earth the size of a brown bear five feet in front of the caster.
> This will work if a section of earth is pointed at.

Expert:

Pyromancy: Fires lightning bolt in the direction of casting.
> Yes, in the direction of the object casting.

> This would not work as Portals are opened at a specific location imparted into the Conjuration which it cannot change.

Inermanteia: Chilled aether is emitted in a cone in the direction the caster is facing. The cone is 10 feet long and is able to lock up to Large sized living things and half the body of Medium sized beings. Potency and distance increased by 30% with Glyhpics.
> Inermanteia is not a "cone" or an area or whatever. It targets a specific "thing," "spell," or "person" within its specified distance and freezes it with the potency of Cryomancy at that tier, but in a different way that slows down its Aether and thus nullifies its Metaphorical power; basic elements and materials in motion would still remain in motion, this would only remove control by the mage or any supernatural properties like Cantrips woven into the stone.

Aeroresonance: Creates a 30' cone in the direction of casting. Sounds within the cone are increased to a high enough pitch to burst blood vessels.
> Use the exact wording from the spell: "high enough to cause extreme pain and burst blood vessels as well as powerful enough to briefly cause small-scale tremors." And again, the radius isn't specified. I don't think you can project this spell into a cone, either. It's about the size of a "room" local to the caster.

I probably won't be answering this many again. I did more to help you out since there aren't a lot of examples, but come at me with 5 or less next time.
