Fang Clan Sacred Art-Ōkami no Kage (狼の影)
Animal Husbandry, SaolShadow of the Wolf is the sacred art passed from generation to generation in the Fang clan. It is not only the heart and soul of the Fang but also an ancient tradition, tying its users to the wolf's very essence. The harsh way of life is intertwined with this bond, forged in blood. The children born into the Fang lineage undergo a rite of passage that forever changes their physiology. Left in the heart of the unforgiving, relentless wilderness they become independent, and fend for themselves.
The test is to discover and bond with a wolf. The Fang Clan holds the animal in high regard as both a fierce guardian and a loyal companion. The tie is a spiritual relationship formed via basic survival in the wilderness. The wolf becomes the user's closest companion, a component of themselves. This bond is one made in blood, and their wolf permanently marks those who succeed. Children who pass the challenge and form a link with the wolf are granted the dominion of Ōkami no Kage

Aesthetic - Ōkami no Kage (狼の影)
Those who successfully bond with a Wolf begin to take on its traits. The ears typically on the sides of a human head disappear and are replaced with lupine ears which rest atop the head on either side. This is the first of many extreme changes, and as the user progresses their irises too change; taking on an amber hue. Their senses too are enhanced, and their hearing, sight, and senses of smell become far keener than that of regular humans. The physical and sensory changes are representative of the bond between Okami and their wolves. Their hair extends in length; often to the lower, or middle back and takes on an oyster white hue.

Passive - Wolf Companion
The user bonds with a wolf, either captured or found in the wild. The wolf becomes a constant, loyal companion who shares a deep connection with the user. The bond is reciprocal: while the wolf gains protection and care, the user gains enhanced abilities. Over time, the user becomes more lupine-like, as the connection deepens, and becomes an integral part of their lives.
• Unique Behavior: The user exhibits wolf-like behaviors. They may feel the instinct to eat raw meat, hunt, and engage in other primal activities, mirroring their wolf's natural inclinations. These behaviors are important for maintaining the bond and their growing abilities.

Buff - Primal Sense
The user's senses become finely tuned, eventually mirroring those of a wolf. Their hearing becomes acute, allowing them to detect distant sounds; their sense of smell sharpens, enabling them to track prey or sense danger; their eyesight improves, granting them enhanced vision in low-light conditions. These heightened senses allow the user to detect changes or movements that would otherwise go unnoticed.
• Behavioral Impact: As the user's senses sharpen, they feel a greater pull to engage with their wolf's natural environment. This leads them to hunt more often or seek out raw food to maintain their power and bond.

Active - Ōkami no Renkei
The user and their wolf work together seamlessly as a cohesive unit. They have learned to communicate without words, using body language and instinctual signals to work together in perfect harmony. In combat or in the wild, the user and wolf anticipate each other's actions, moving as a unified force.
• Behavioral Impact: This coordination is not limited to physical combat. The user may begin to move, hunt, or track prey with their wolf in tandem, following the natural rhythms and instincts of a pack. They may even begin to mirror the wolf's physical actions, such as pacing or howling, during certain moments of heightened emotion or focus.

Active - Transformation
Depending on the level of skill; an Okami can complete a full transformation. Which grants them inhuman strength, speed, and keen senses. Once it is complete, they assume the physiology of a wolf. Capable of running, hunting, and fighting with the animalistic, primal strength, and senses of their companion.
• Duration and Limitations: The Okami may shapeshift for a limited time with the duration increasing with level of mastery. They cannot indefinitely remain in lupine-form, however. Following the shift in state, the user will feel physically drained, and unfamiliar with their bipedal body, after they return to their normal state; as the transformation draws on their Saol.

Behavioral Changes: Hunting and Eating Raw Meat
As the user's connection to their companion deepens, they experience the primal urges, and instincts of the wolf. Including, but not limited to predatory instincts, consuming raw meat, and engaging in behaviors typically associated with lupines. These actions are necessary to maintain the bond and their powers. If the user does not engage in these activities, they will find their powers gradually waning.
• Predatory Instinct: The user may feel an uncontrollable urge to hunt, using their enhanced senses to track down prey. While they are not required to kill, they must find raw meat to consume periodically to maintain their strength and connection to the wolf.
• Eating Raw Meat: The user will develop a craving for raw meat, which sustains their connection to their wolf and replenishes their energy. This behavior becomes more pronounced as their bond grows stronger.

Emotional Impact - Wolf's Loss
The wolf is a lifelong companion, a vital part of the user's life. If the Wolf is killed lost or separates from its Master too long, the user will undergo a deep, emotional collapse. The bond is so strong that losing the Wolf will trigger a profound sense of grief and depression, often leaving the user unable to function properly. This emotional toll is not just psychological but physical; without their Wolf, the user's abilities will begin to fade, and they will feel physically weak and drained.
• Depression and Grief: The user experiences a long period of depression lasting upwards of three seasons, marked by intense sorrow, lethargy, and a loss of will. This emotional state can severely affect their ability to fight or engage with the world around them.
• Physical Weakness: As the bond with the wolf is severed, the user's heightened senses and abilities begin to deteriorate. Their wolf traits will slowly fade away, leaving them vulnerable.
