Character Sheet
Name: Shadow Craft

Metaphor: Abraia establishes Dominion over Anathema (Dissolution, Change, Despair, Shadows). She does this by harnessing her dark angry feelings towards those who have wronged her and her family.

Note: Anathema is weak against Luxium. Shadow Crafted items are half as effective when going up against Luxium.

Abilities:

0: Novice – Shadow Stitch
Abraia can make weapons of exceptional quality. Broken/damaged edges are automatically filled with solidified shadow. She does this by infusing her forge with Anathema. The forge does not give off any light during this time.

25: Apprentice – Shadow Hardening
Abraia can make things that are harder than normally possible. She accomplishes this by mixing her blood and metaphor during the forging process.

50: Journeyman – Shadowless
Abraia can make items that do not have shadows. She does this by coating the items with Anathema while adding finishing touches.

100: Expert – Shadow's Edge
Abraia's crafted weaponry is extra sharp in low or no lighting. This is because she uses Anathema to sharpen the edge of the blades she makes.

250: Master – Shadow Length
Abraia's crafted weaponry can be extended or shortened. This is achieved by touching the weapon to a surface that bears a shadow. This step is added by infusing Anathema into the handle of the weapon.

250 + Major Merit: Ascended – Shadow Smith
Abraia can capture materials in her shadow and bind them to it, in turn pulling out pieces of her own shadow to then replicate that material. This does not let her mix the materials, only replicate them individually. This is not something she can do in combat, and its only purpose is to be used whilst crafting. Making alloys out of her shadow would be a handled by Alchemy down the line. Limit 24 materials.

Shadowless: The shadows created by items Abraia makes are nonexistent. This effect is passed onto the wielder in some instances. If someone is wearing a full suit of armor with no flesh exposed they would give no shadow. If they were not wearing a helmet, their head would still give a shadow.
Shadow's Edge: Blade edges are supernaturally sharp (narratively). They can act as sharp weapons against apparated entities. They can also be damaged by apparated entities.

Looks gooood so far!

General
What does Abraia call her Dominion in Shadow? Shadow Smithing? Darksmithing?
How does Abraia establish Dominion over Anathema?
Find a unique way to describe crafting each of these additions. How does she craft them?
Anathema, Miasmata, and Absentia are each weak to Luxium. That will need to be represented in the write-up somehow.

Shadow Stitch
Regenerating could 'fix' the edge, but the edge would still get dull. If you want the edge to come back in seconds, then focus the regeneration on just the edge, otherwise use this template. These values are derived from Nekros' Soul Stone regeneration.

Novice: Will regain its edge in a month.
Apprentice: Will regain its edge in 2 weeks.
Journeyman: Regenerates damage in a week.
Expert: Regenerates damage over a day. Able to mend pieces together in a week.
Master: Regenerates damage in under an hour. Able to mend pieces together in a day.
Grandmaster: Regenerates damage and knits nearby pieces together in three minutes.

Shadow Forge
Added hardness of 1x steel makes sense, but sharpness is less a factor of the material and how good the edge is, with hardness dictating how well the weapon maintains it - I'm going to rule that doing funny things to the edge as well would be a separate ability.

Fearful Presence
Fearful presence should evoke a feeling of subconscious dread that is mitigated by meditation, but isn't enough to paralyze someone without actually casting the wielder's Anathema spell reserves/alkahest to frighten them. I'm not very fond of a passive mechanical penalty to other characters just by seeing this item

Shadow Length
You'll want a specified minimum and maximum length, and describe how the wielder gets their weapon to extend or retract.

Suggestion:
Master: From the handle, up to 10ft
Ascended: From the handle, up to 25ft

Shadow Smith:
My suggestion is that Abraia can capture materials in her shadow and bind them to it, in turn pulling out pieces of her own shadow to then replicate that material. This does not let her mix the materials, only replicate them individually. Making alloys out of her shadow would be a handled by Alchemy down the line.
Limit 24 materials, same as Terrassimilation.

I love the shadow motif & using this effectively as a productive outlet for anger, narratively. Sorry this took me so long! Will probably request some tenebrous crafts myself :>
