Arcaelum had spent some time in Aelheim adjusting to the life here, learning and adapting his knowledge and skillset of his life and translating it to this cities craft and culture, not so much helped by the fact that he only now felt confident enough in his Aelvish to properly speak it, and writing runes the way Aelves did was much harder, it taxed his mind, but the man had persevered and today was his day to embark on truly acquiring a proper business here, he had placed an order to a merchant willing to work with a foreigner, purely told that if something went wrong with Arcaelum’s work that the person he bought the goods from would not see any word of scrutiny or blame, he of course believed his crafts had little to no chance to fail being confident in his work, so Arcaelum began filling out the order, scrutinizing every detail to make sure he had gotten it correct.

The large Sofontti had of course had to travel light from his homeland to study the crafts of this place, he missed his home and thought of it fondly, but the tedium and labor of life in Kalevela was not something he was after, sure that was where he had learned the start of his crafts but the new world, where he was now was something people back home could hardly dream of, his spirit did not want to be tethered he had far too much drive, an enterprising spirit to be tied down to his work back home.

The hulking Karhu Drew many looks as he milled about the shopkeepers wares, inspecting and eyeing the sealed cases containing various forms of aetherite and to a lesser extent some of the other forms of alkahest, the merchant he found was an Aelf, not surprising given where he newly resided, but one that seemed to hold a fondness for the strange and esoteric nature of Arcaelum or at least that was what he had thought upon first contact, the large bear man clad in armor and fine leathers was probably the only of his kind even in Aelheim at this moment so he was glad he wasn't shooed out of the city entirely.

As Arcaelum finished filling in the various words and measurements on the sheets, struggling to remember the proper measurements when writing the script out, he handed over the measurements to the Aelf running the store the man behind the counter of the stall of stockpiled wares unlocked his storage containers and started filling a crate with the goods, "Stranger, remember the deal, if something bad happens i never met you, and if you do good work with this, you spread my name far and wide as your first connection in the city, ? Understood?" The aelf smiled widely, he was clearly amused and this may not be the first time he had persued a buisness arrangement with a near stranger.

Arcaelum likewise nodded, chuckling softly, a small raspieness in his tone. "Of course, don't want to cause trouble, and if i do good work it would be good to know i have a supplier that has quality supplies, its a good business deal for either of us, of course id be a fool to not agree to your terms sir" The merchant nodded, fully stockpiling the goods and wrapping them securely in a crate for Arcaelum, then sealed the crate. "Then our deal is complete, Be on your way and good luck, foreigners in aelheim will need it" Arcaelum took his crate of supplies and took off towards his workplace, this would be an interesting time, it was time to get properly started.
