Habitat:
It only grows naturally in the desert, usually far from any water source.
Size:
Its roots can bury many meters into the ground searching for water. The size of the plant itself is entirely dependent on how much water is available to it. If it's in an extremely dry are of the desert, it might only get a few centimeters tall. If it's provided limitless water, it will grow so large that it will grow several meters high, eventually falling over onto itself and bursting.
Biome Role:
The flower is consumed by those stranded from water sources. Since life rarely exists so far from water, this flower is often the only water source available. Because it's so greedy with water, it's hard to find more than one occurring naturally.
Life Cycle:
The seeds of the flower contain enough water for a new plant to survive for several years and are only produced if the plant can spare the hydration. It's unknown how long they can live – most flowers simply get eaten or die from arid conditions.
Cultural Significance:
Gluttania are as sought after as oases when one is travelling throughout the desert. It's a commonly recognized plant by name even if one doesn't live in the desert.
Description:

CR0 – just pluck it and eat it raw
