Description:
Haerpsi is a green plant with taught stringy tendrils that are arranged much like a string instrument. It gets its name by the harp-like sounds that are produced when an animal brushes against it. The sounds tend to attract pollinators.
Cultural Significance:
The tendrils of the plant can be used as strings for instruments in lieu of other products. Many prefer how it sounds in lieu of other traditional materials.
Habitat:
Grows in lush forests, preferring a temperate climate. It goes dormant in cold temperatures rather than dying, then revives when the seasons change once more.
Size:
Can grow to be several feet high.
Biome Role:
A very attractive plant to most pollinators, the haerpsi helps sustain them, thus allowing for a stable population for all plants in a given region.
Life Cycle:
This plant is perennial and reaches maturity within a year.
Resources:
String-like tendrils useful for making instruments and sounds.
