There are peaceful zones in every city, and Kongling is optimal for peaceful characters. However, it is still subject to invasion from Cor'norai and outside clans
Location Overview

A well-fortified fishing village, bordering a massive river is situated just outside the stronghold of Wushan. Kongling, is a strategically positioned settlement; with a large flowing river between the village settlements on either side. This village serves as a supply-storage facility for marine resources. The waters are abundant with fish, and Cor'norai who worship Sameusi; these are not the hostile variant, and are considered Jianese free to travel so long as they bear no allegiance to the clans. However, it is no place of sustenance; it is a warzone, where clashes between rival factions, and those who seek to invade converge.

Geographical Features

The coastline is dotted with small fishing boats, expertly crafted to withstand, and navigate the river's strong current. The tang of the river fills the air. When combined with the aroma of fresh catch, the familiar scent converges to become unique and staunch. While the river provides a bountiful harvest, it is also a hub of conflict, as various clans vie for control over the fishing grounds.

The Village is renowned for its rocky shoreline, relatively flat surface, and tumultuous seas; wherein waves crash against the land. A foreboding landscape Kongling Is built on elevated ground. Most homes are wooden structures, with fishing docks extending into the river. The surrounding terrain is rough, and uneven; this provides ample cover from ambushes, or skirmishes that erupt between the Moonflower, Futo, and their adversaries.

Village Layout and Fortifications

Kongling's strange architecture is reflective of the dual purpose as a fishing village and a fortified trading facility. The building sare constructed from sturdy, local timber, adorned with defensive features such as reinforced shutters and high walls. Watchtowers surround the vicinity, manned by Satyr, and Futorisugi guards. They pay close attention to movement in the distance; ever-watching for enemy forces on the horizon.

The heart of Kongling is the village square, where merchants sell fresh fish, shellfish, and other local cuisine. The cacophony of banter echoes around as villagers gather to tell tales of the river, and the share the latest news regarding ongoing conflicts. However, as speculation of enemy incursions spread. The atmosphere quickly transitions from that of camaraderie; into one filled with tension.

Fishing Practices


Fishing is not only a vital source of sustenance for the villagers of Kongling but also a communal activity; one that is the focal point of unity among inhabitants. The fishermen use traditional techniques. Therefore they often elect to use nets, traps, and spears to catch a wide variety of fish. Which, consists of snapper, mackrel, octopus, and other local species that have been heavily altered by the outer alchemy, of Xie Chuntian. The villagers take great pride in their craft, and the successful catches are celebrated with feasts that honor both the sea and their ancestors.

The Futo clan emphasizes the importance of maintaining control over Kongling's fishing rights, ensuring that their warriors are well-fed and equipped for battle. The village's waters are also home to larger, more dangerous sea creatures, which are occasionally hunted by the Futo warriors to prove their strength and valor.

Conflict and Tension

Kongling's strategic importance makes it a hotbed for conflict. The Futo clan are under constant threat from Ronin seeking revenge, or glory, stealthy ninja whos aim is to disrupt their operations, and cut off the primary supply, and trading hub. The rival Clans, view Kongling as a prime target ; due to its bountiful resources and its pivotal role in supporting the Futo clan's military efforts.

Clashes usually take place at fishing docks or along the rocky coastlines. These conflicts may include ambushes, aerial attacks by the Huo Clan, and sneaky ninja infiltrations. As a result, the Moonflower and Futorisugi risk their lives to keep the community safe. The Futo have set up rotational patrols and defense measures. To ensure that the inhabitants can both fish and protect their home. Despite repeated hostilities, the people remain resilient, working together to safeguard their livelihoods and each other.

Cultural Significance


Kongling holds a cultural significance for the Futo clan, as it symbolizes their enduring connection to the sea and their commitment to defending their territory. The village's inhabitants share a strong bond, united by their shared struggles and triumphs, and they often come together to celebrate the bounty of the sea with feasts and festivals that showcase their culinary traditions.

Kongling exemplifies the Futo clan's persistence and will to prosper in the face of adversity. This war-torn fishing town is both a key source of food and a frontline in clan warfare. The spirit of the Kongling people is formed in the crucible of struggle, making them not just great fisherman but also powerful protectors of their homeland. In this dynamic and ever-changing setting, Kongling and its residents' tenacity shines through, expressing the spirit of Jianese life..
