Owned By: Luke Pendragon Enterprise Tier: Small Purpose: Contract mage work Location: Currently a small shop in Bast, several miles from the Academy.
Description: In a small, two roomed building tucked away in a tightly packed row of businesses, there is a shop with a sign hanging over it reading “Mage’s Guild.” An ambitious name, but it is run by only a small handful employees. Among them is a secretary takes requests and forwards them to Luke or Bastet who will fit the request into their schedules.
Goods/Services: Mages for Hire
Mercenary Work: Luke along with any mages he hires down the line are available for bodyguard duty or hunting people/creatures down. This is a formation-focused business.
Practices/Theorems: Luke has hired Bastet, an expert in the field of ensorcelling and alchemistry. She gets much more work requests than he does, but it still isn’t much as the business is still small.
I'll poke Desiderata for final say on the concept.
In the meantime from me, please give your business an actual name. This would be like calling a shop 'General Store' or similar. It's kinda funny in its own way, but businesses typically need a recognizeable identity to function, and I doubt this is the only one of its type in Bast of all places. Imagine two people talking about it & since Luke's operation is new, one party might just assume the other to be generically speaking about another, more well known guild, etc.
