Quanyu – The Fleeting City of the Saru Clan
Overview: Quanyu is a migratory village. It is highly symbolic, of the Saru Clan's malicious, maleficent nature. concealed deep into lush valleys, surrounded by dense forests and rolling hills. The chaotic, ever-evolving city that develops, moves, and changes alongside its ever shifting populace. The city is for the most part composed of temporary housing, bustling markets, and humorous art pieces as opposed to the fixed buildings that define other cities.

Purpose of Quanyu

Quanyu serves as the Saru Clan's cultural hub for celebration and festivals, where members of the tribe congregate to celebrate their traditions, exchange tales, and take part in cheerful contests. Acrobatic shows, vibrant decorations, and storytelling sessions bring Saru from all over Jian to the city during festivals, which bring the city to life. The Saru are able to show off their abilities and artistic prowess at these gatherings. which also develop relations within the clan. This training camp provides Saru warriors, with an actual training area, where they can hone their skills in a safe setting. The most seasoned of navigators; find it challenging to understand the city's ever-changing layout, which features a variety of obstacles, hiding places, and traps.

The Layout of Quanyu
There is no definitive layout of Quanyu. The city is one of constant change; a store could be in one location for a moment, and gone the next. The city is in perpetual motion, and can only be fully-navigated by residents who've been present for years. Some of the best navigators, and architects from all facets of Antarok come to visit the sprawling-hub of activity. Most of the homes are composed of light-weight materials, that are easily accessible, and simultaneously functional.

The Monkeys of Quanyu
Monkeys play a crucial role in Quanyu, serving as both companions and helpers to the Saru. They are trained to assist with various tasks, from stealing small items to entertaining visitors with their acrobatic displays. The monkeys are a constant presence in the city, adding to the lively atmosphere and serving as reminders of the Saru's connection to their trickster god, Pang Dontian.

Guardianship of Quanyu
While Quanyu may seem like a carefree and chaotic city, it is heavily protected by the Saru Clan. The shifting structures and the natural surroundings create a perfect environment for stealth and evasion. Saru warriors are always on alert for intruders, and a network of lookout points and traps surrounds the city. Monkeys are trained to act as scouts, warning of approaching threats and causing distractions if necessary.

Mystical and Ritualistic Nature
The Fleeting City is filled with ritual practitioners and celebrations. The Saru Clan gathers here to perform rituals honoring Pang Dontian, seeking his blessing for their mischief and agility. During significant festivals, they pay tribute to the monkey god through elaborate dances, feasts, and contests of skill.

Every new moon, the Saru host the Night of Shadows, a festival dedicated to the art of stealth. During this night, the city transforms into a giant playground where Saru compete in various challenges, including theft, acrobatics, and pranks, all while trying to evade the watchful eyes of their peers.

Quanyu represents the Saru Clan's vibrant culture, playful spirit, and dedication to their craft. It is a city that embodies the essence of the Saru—a place where mischief reigns, and the art of stealth is celebrated. With its ever-changing layout, lively atmosphere, and strong sense of community, Quanyu stands as a testament to the Saru's unyielding connection to their heritage and the joy they find in their chaotic existence.
