Habitat:
It only grows in swamps.

Size:
This tree can grow up to 30 yards tall, though it typically only grows 20 yards or so taller than the top of the water level.

Biome Role:
The tree acts as shelter for swamp dwelling critters. It likes to be partially submerged in the water and adjusts its water intake as appropriate – it won't dry out an area if it can help it but would actively consume more water if it felt like the water level was getting too high.

Life Cycle:
These trees live for several decades and drop lots of seeds. It's common for clusters of these trees to grow in the deepest parts of a swamp.

Cultural Significance:
It's common for swamp dwellers to live in floating structures that are tethered to these trees.

Description:
A staple tree in any swamp and a haven for non-aquatic life. It grows tall and strong while also helping control the water levels in the area.

Harvesting:
CR2 for branches, CR3 to fell

Notable Features:

• The bark is incredibly good at holding moisture and does not suffer from the typical issues with wet wood such as rot. This makes it extremely fire resistant
• Druids can create shields out of this tree, making them extra effective at defending against fire-based attacks
